This piece is inspired by the tragic story of Shakespeare's character, Ophelia, from Hamlet. She succumbs to a state of madness due to the actions of Hamlet which ultimately leads to her death by drowning.

As I was creating this piece I was processing mental illness of a different form and the journey that people take navigating the ups and downs of living in todays Modern Society.

The depth and beauty of this artwork is everchanging as the angle it is viewed changes.
